Getting true high availability for PostgreSQL doesn’t have to mean proprietary tools or complex vendor setups. With the right open source stack, and the right deployment approach, you can achieve four nines of uptime across your environments.
In this hands-on session, Semab Tariq and Warda Bibi from Stormatics walked through how to deploy a production-grade PostgreSQL cluster using Trusted Postgres Architect (TPA) alongside Patroni, pgbouncer, and Barman, all open source, fully integrated, and built for resilience.
You Will Learn:
→ How to deploy PostgreSQL HA clusters quickly with TPA
→ Real-world architecture combining Patroni, pgbouncer, and Barman
→ Best practices for consistent rollouts across dev, staging, and prod
→ Lessons from high-stakes deployments in production
