Boriss Mejías is a PostgreSQL Solutions Architect at EDB. He has more than a decade of experience in distributed self-managing systems as a software and systems engineer.

Prior to his role at EDB, Boriss was a PostgreSQL Consultant and Trainer at 2ndQuadrant, before it was acquired by EDB.

In his free time, Boriss enjoys contributing his expertise to open source communities, and he is an active member of the PostgreSQL User Group in Belgium.

Boriss is a big fan of heavy metal music and enjoys playing the air guitar, a talent he honed through decades of dedicated practice.
