Successful backups do not necessarily mean your PostgreSQL environment is recoverable. In this practical webinar, Semab will explain how to translate business requirements into measurable RPO and RTO targets, test restoration readiness, identify gaps in recovery plans and retain evidence that demonstrates recoverability.
Join Semab Tariq on 23 September 2026 at 3 PM GMT for a session on “PostgreSQL Backup SLAs: How to Verify RPO, RTO and Restore Readiness.”
This webinar is especially relevant for people responsible for proving that a business-critical PostgreSQL system can actually be recovered, and not merely that backups are running, particularly in organizations where data loss or prolonged downtime has material consequences.
Note: This is not primarily a beginner or general-learning webinar.

This session will cover:
→ Why successful backups do not prove recoverability
→ How to translate business requirements into RPO and RTO
→ What a PostgreSQL restoration test should include
→ Common gaps in recovery plans
→ What evidence teams should retain after testing
→ A practical recovery-readiness checklist
